L.K.1. Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.
K.CC.2. Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).

If you haven't read the book Easter Eggs Everywhere!  It's a must!  It is about the Easter Bunny waking up late and he hasn't started coloring his eggs for the kids.  He runs into a fox that sells him an egg machine.  What a mess it makes, but his four bunny pals helps him just in time to save Easter!  In my packet, students can also help the Easter Bunny by creating their own egg.  It has comprehension questions and two centers!  Here is a preview of what all this packet has in it.

  1. I usually have my students write a "Caught You Being Good" note to a classmate on Valentine's Day. We draw names and they have to watch the other person carefully so they can write the note.
